Named a High-Performing School District by the State of Missouri for seven consecutive years, the Liberty Public School District has received the highest accreditation given to a Missouri school district.
Liberty students consistently score above state and national norms on standardization test and rank in the top three in the state for ACT scores.
Among Liberty Schools’ Accomplishments:

In April, 2008, Liberty school patrons passed a $58-million bond issue with 78% of the vote. As a result, the district opened its tenth elementary school, Kellybrook Elementary, in August 2009, and will open its second high school, Liberty North, in August 2010.
Named a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) model school. This award-winning, nationally-recognized pre-engineering program is offered to junior high and high school students.
National Champion in Forensics: State Champions in scholar Bowl, theatre, Softball, Cross Country, Track, Cheerleading and Pom Pom.
Liberty Public Schools has its own broadcasting station, KLPS-TV, Channel 18.
National Pacemaker awards and Show-Me-State award in Journalism and Broadcasting.
National Salute District for technology program and National school Library Media Program of the Year award winner.
